This site is an introduction to the types of works that are provided by the General's HomeWorks.
Steve (the General) Griffiths has set up this site not only to hopefully gain more clients but to be of assistance to anyone requiring help or advice by e mail, phone or in many cases a personal visit.

HOW DO I SAVE MONEY BY USING HOMEWORKS
If you are planning any works to your house and get quotes from large companies you will notice a couple of things straight away,
1) that larger companies have to charge much more per day per man to cover their costs as they have much larger overheads. Some companies are charging £300.00 per man per day.
2) The dreaded VAT, this will add one fifth to your total costs
So what is the difference with using HOMEWORKS
1) The daily rate is very much lower than large companies
2) You are dealing with the man that will be doing your job not someone behind a desk in an office so there is less confussion and less chance of mistakes
3) And of course one of the biggest savings is NO VAT
